Write about something you’ve always been curious about

I've been curious about my mother's side of the story when she met my dad. Growing up, I would always ask my parents; my dad would always answer. When I'm bored I ask her but she changes the subject or laughs about it. One time I said, " If you're not going to tell me then I won't tell you when I have a boyfriend". Her reply was "Then don't come crying about your boyfriend". Then that day I asked again how she met my dad her reply was "You have to give me $500 or $1000 for me to answer".

Write about your most special holiday memory.

The most special holiday memory is Thanksgiving. The reason is that we are on a break and have nice weather. Of all the days I wake up early in a nice mood my mother is cooking. You can feel the heat and smell of the food. At that time I mostly start watching my Kdramas.

Write about the best gift you have received.

Growing up, I received gifts only, and they were only really good money. My mom was cleaner. She would always come home late and be tired. My father went to pick up my mother she came late at night it was Christmas. In my household, we don't celebrate Christmas but that night I and my siblings were waiting on them while watching TV. My mother came with something on her back pulled it out and showed it to us. It was a horse I fell in love with the horse that was the best gift my parents got me.

Write about a song that brings back a specific memory

A song that brings back memories is "Birds Of A Feather" by Billie Eilish. That song has made me so emotional. I talk a lot about my friends because I view them as sisters even though we are apart. This song reminds me of them. How we made each other laugh in serious situations during class trips and lunch. But this song reminds me of this one time in middle school when we went to the little track. All my friends were there it was 12 of us and we started playing. At that moment I was the last person to run for them I didn't want to be left behind. I noticed I was the one looking out for all of them, and now we will be part of each.

Write about something that you believed as a child.

Growing up, I believed that at night, I was obliged to be at home because there would always be people who would come and steal me. I was a troublemaker at home so my parents would tell me people were always at the front door to go and take me at night when I got in trouble. One time I  believed them because that day I broke something that belonged to my parents and that night someone knocked. My parents looked at me and told me I was being taken I was scared. But it was a lie the person who knocked on the door was my auntie.

Describe a time you couldn’t stop laughing.

My mom was trying to make me laugh because I'd been mad or in a bad mood the whole day she tried her best. I was funny and tried not to show it, but then she fell down and I started laughing so hard. I knew that I had to help her since my dad also fell, and that's when I started to laugh and keep laughing. I could feel my stomach was hurting and I needed to catch my breath.

Write about a fear you have overcome.

A fear I overcame was being alone. Being alone is not bad; your mind becomes clear, and you can stay focused. I used to be scared of doing things alone, and eating alone, and not that bad for me I feel peace. People come and go but that is not important what is important is you doing things you like alone or with friends.

Write about an unforgettable meal.

I was in pre-K I just woke up from a long nap. I didn't know when was lunch time but I was hungry. When it was time for lunch since in my school there were not a lot of students we would have a full meal to eat. There was one dish I didn't forget and love it. It was cooked pear.

Write about something that you can't stop thinking about

One thing I can't stop thinking about is this one boy I met I don't have memories with him but we were friends for 1 year. I wonder where is at and if he is alive. He helped me a lot when we were in the same class period. I only remember his smile and his red cheeks during the winter.

Write about a time when you were judged unfairly

One time I was in class we had an assignment due it was an essay. I was not good in my English class, I mostly hated the class when it came to essays. While I was typing my friend next to me told me to give her my school ID and to log in and play around and show how cool it was. I did since I did not believe it was possible. Right at that moment the teachers come and get us in trouble with the principal. It was not necessary since we did nothing wrong we just typed gibberish words.

Write about a conversation that changed you.

A conversation that changed me was with this lady who was the same height as me but older. This was when I was a pre-teen she started saying you're about to be a teenager so start acting like one. You have to help your around the house stop playing around and learn to be a lady. Help your mom when cooking; your mother will not stay with you forever. Those words change me. Today in class we wrote vocabulary.
