 Today we took notes about claims. What is the format of an argument body paragraph and the 3 different claims. Now I have a better understanding of claim. In the future I will use it on work that has to do with argument writing. We also use examples to help better understand the lesson. Then we did a work sheet where we practiced writing claims. Even though the lesson was boring I understand claim and it will help me in the future.

 Today we had work on NewsELA, we read an article about how we go to Google when we are sick and need answers for our symptoms. The article talks about how we have to be caring where the research comes from and if it is reliable. After we finished reading we had to answer questions. I only got 2 right and the other 2 were wrong. I got sad I was planning to get 100. But today was chill day.

 Today was a chill day we only had to learn 15 vocabularies and write their definition. I have not  seen these vocabulary words but now I am learning about them and I think I could use some of these words in a sentence or when I want to express my feelings. After we wrote the words and their definition we had to do an exercise to fill up the blank with the words. It was a chill day so I like the  work and I like how we take notes to study over the weekend for the test coming up.

 Today we had to work with a partner to view our essay. Me and my partner were exchanged our papers where we wrote our feedback. If there was comments or changes that the partner gave us then we will do the changes in our essay. I liked how my printer helped me with my spelling grammar. I also really liked her essay it was more simpler and clear. This was a good opportunity before I submitted it for a nice grade. It can help my mood up with my partner help me improve my essay.

 Today we finish our essay wrote it down in word. I was going to struggling how to start the sentence and how to end the sentence for each paragraph but I manage it. I thought I was in the type two pages but I only wrote one. I didn't enjoy the quiet time we had in class so it helped me focus. I also use the note from yesterday to help me do the introduction and conclusion.

 Today in class we finished taking notes about introduction and conclusion. I learned how to make a thesis statement. And how many sentences should an introduction conclusion have. I think I'll use this during test or an essay if I have the right one.

 Today we took notes of the writing process. How there were five steps of making a good writing. We learn prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and presenting. I think I would use this in in college or in job or right now in high school. In class we did a topic together that is how to successfully obtain a job and we divided into like three sub topics. And with that information I think I could make five paragraphs. This is easy and it can help me brainstorm more.

 Today we where finishing your test in illuminate about Emily Dixon quotes. We were still analyzing the call and finding the topic and theme and conflict. Each School is different and has different message or lesson. I'm finally understanding how to analyze poem and how to find the message of the quote or the lesson.  I did not finish the illuminate quiz so here's the rest:  14.  Today we read a poem by Emily Dickinson.We learned how to analyze the poem. We also take notes to help us understand more about the poem. Then we did a little bit of our test and illuminate and we analyze it I don't like it. What I learned is how to analyze a poem and I might use it to understand the poem. I think my struggle is like how to find the deeper meaning or what's the deeper meaning of a poem and the conflict.
